4-Step Process

Commissioning

Commissioning is the final and most important part of the Cenergy 4-step process because it assures optimal system performance is delivered and maintained. The Cenergy Commissioning Process begins upon completion of the installation phase when your new system is ready to operate and continues through the first year of operation. This critical process should continue for the life of your system to monitor and maintain its peak performance.

The first phase is system start-up and balancing. All equipment is operated and brought to peak efficiency as each component is balanced to provide the best performance. At this time your maintenance and service personnel are trained in proper operation, control and maintenance of the new system.

The second phase in the commissioning process includes periodic reviews of system operation for at least the first year. We monitor your equipment and make necessary adjustments to improve performance and insure you get maximum benefit from the program. If any of the equipment or system operations deviate from initial optimal performance levels, adjustments are made to bring performance back into compliance with the operating plan. We also continue to work with your operating and maintenance people during the first year of operation to make sure they understand the systems, their benefits and how to get the most from them.

The commissioning process should also include a third on-going phase of continued monitoring for the life of the system. This provides very important benefits and more information that always leads to additional opportunities. Continual fine-tuning of the system’s operation will lead to further improvements in performance and reductions in operating costs.
